Coordination and Operations Section

This Section is responsible for the following activities:

· To co-ordinate requirements for disaster relief

· To co-ordinate ministries and NGOs before and after disaster

· To co-ordinate line ministries to take action as appropriate when a disaster occurs

· To solicit relief supplies from both internal and external organizations

· To receive supplies and other goods from donors either internally and externally

· To co-ordinate restoration of services after disaster
